ざっとながめてみたところでは、モデル選択全般というより、ステップワイズによる重回帰分析がダメということみたい。より良い方法としては、AICのような情報量基準を使うか、フルモデルを使うことが推奨されている。

We suggest that use of stepwise multiple regression is bad practice. Ecologists and behavioural scientists should make use of alternative (e.g. IT) methods or, where appropriate, should fit a full model (i.e. one containing all predictors).
